Iran has given the go-ahead for Malaysian ships to pass through the Strait of Hormuz without paying tolls, according to a Malaysian government spokesperson. However, Malaysia’s ships have not been paying tolls to pass through the strait, and many are waiting in a queue. On the other hand, 18 Indian ships are stranded in the Strait of Hormuz, which has led to a severe energy crisis in India. As per an NDTV report, 18 Indian-flagged ships carrying LPG, crude oil, and LNG are stuck in the Strait of Hormuz. The Iranian authorities have made it clear that only ships from brotherly countries can pass through the strait after coordinating with the Iranian authorities.
Notably, in the past month, the Indian Ministry of Shipping said that two more Indian LPG tankers had passed through the Strait of Hormuz, with one ship set to dock at Mumbai port and the other at New Mangalore port. The Revolutionary Guard Corps claims that the IT company’s center was targeted in response to Iranian attacks. Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Saeed Khatibzadeh called the US-Israeli attack on Iran’s Pasteur Institute “shameful.” A British newspaper reports that a new pipeline will bypass the chokepoint on the Strait of Hormuz, which is under Iranian control.
Amir Hatami has warned that if any enemy country launches a land attack on Iran, it will be completely destroyed. The spokesperson for the Supreme Council of the Revolution has stated that the war in the Middle East will continue until the US is defeated and forced to surrender. The Iranian Foreign Ministry has stated that Iran’s new Supreme Leader, Ebrahim Raisi, is safe and has not been harmed by US-Israeli airstrikes. As per Israeli media reports, a rocket has fallen in the border city of Kharqan, and the construction of a new international airport and metro system in Mecca is underway, aimed at providing better travel facilities to millions of pilgrims and Saudi citizens.
