According to Indian media, the accident occurred around 11:30 pm on Tuesday when Thakkar was returning home from work. Her car veered off the road and collided with a divider, causing severe head injuries that led to her death. Local residents immediately stopped the car and rushed Thakkar to a nearby hospital, but doctors declared her dead due to the severity of her injuries.
