Abhishek Bachchan, the renowned Indian actor, has confessed that he has modified his approach to understanding criticism with the passage of time. According to a recent report by a leading Indian media outlet, the 50-year-old actor expressed that previously, he viewed critics in a negative light, perceiving them as not understanding his work. However, he now acknowledges that criticism serves as a means for learning and self-improvement, and that constructive criticism can be a valuable tool for growth.
This admission comes as Bachchan prepares to portray the villain in Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming film, “King.” The actor further stated that, as an artist, he is accountable to his audience and has come to view critics as guides rather than adversaries. Bachchan also emphasized that a wise individual does not dismiss criticism but, instead, uses it as an opportunity to learn and grow.
Bachchan’s remarks are a testament to his evolution as an artist over the years. Having made his debut in the 1992 film “Refugee,” Bachchan has appeared in numerous notable films, including “Bunti and Babli,” “Dhoom,” “Guru,” “Sarkar,” and “Kabhi Alvida Naa Kahna.”
