The heavy rainfall has caused disruptions in several areas, including North Nazimabad, North Karachi, Sirajani, Federal B Area, Saddar, and the Airport. Furthermore, reports of trees falling due to the strong wind have also been received.
To ensure preparedness for any emergency, the mayor stated that the personnel are on standby, and machinery has been deployed in various areas. According to the Ministry of Information, Pakistan has not violated any ceasefire agreement.
Meanwhile, Sindh Chief Minister has announced a 90-day pardon for prisoners to celebrate the Eid festival. According to the government spokesperson, prisoners will be granted a 90-day reprieve from their sentences to observe the Eid celebrations.
