Pakistan Super League (PSL) captain Shahid Afridi has expressed his satisfaction with the Lahore Qalandars’ performance in the league over the last four to five years. This year, too, the team has arrived at the trial stage, and Afridi is optimistic that a few talented players will make the cut for the PSL. He also expressed hope that the league will attract even more talented players in the next 10 years.
Afridi also pointed out that several new players, including foreigners, have joined the team for PSL 11, and that the league will be played on new grounds, which will further boost fan enthusiasm and engagement.
In a separate development, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the anthem for the PSL 11’s closing ceremony, while the International Hockey Federation (FIH) has released the schedule for the Hockey World Cup.
