The government of Pakistan has appointed Engineer Mohammad Reza Chohan as the new Vice Chancellor of Chuanab University Gujrat. Prior to this appointment, he served as a member of the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan, where he has been involved in various national initiatives, including the development of the Undergraduate Scholarship Program, the Teaching Excellence Framework, and the accreditation and quality assurance of educational institutions. Chohan has played a key role in promoting the national efforts to improve the quality of education in Pakistan.
Recently, the committee led by Chohan conducted a probe into the alleged corruption and misconduct at the Federal Urdu University, which is yet to be resolved. The Prime Minister’s Relief Package 2026 has been launched, with the government releasing 19,55,620 digital payments.
