Punjab, Pakistan – A devastating collision between the Shalimar Express and a freight train occurred near Noor Shahar, Ferozepur district, on the Lakhawala Road Railway Station. The Shalimar Express was traveling from Karachi to Lahore when the accident occurred near the Qila Sattar Shah train station in Sheikhupura. Although there have been no reports of fatalities or significant financial losses, the passenger train’s engine sustained damage due to the collision.
