The Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sahibzada Saeedur Rahman, has announced that the provincial government is taking concrete steps to enhance the efficiency and accountability of public institutions. Furthermore, 150 BHUs and RHCS have been converted into 24-hour Child Birth Centres, and a summary has been approved to recruit 2,400 medical officers for vacant posts. Additionally, 1.5 million wild olive trees have been replaced with European varieties in the merged districts, and 700 water courses have been upgraded with the participation of local communities.
The briefing also mentioned that 3,177 orphans and 3,380 widowed women will receive a monthly allowance of Rs 5,000 each, while 3,500 students will be provided with scholarships in government and private institutions. Since the launch of the e-Sammya and e-Office system, over 1,500 summaries and 600 files have been received and processed. The Chief Minister emphasized that the government is working to enhance the performance of public institutions, provide standard services, and restore public trust by improving the efficiency of government departments.
