In his message, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif stated that Pakistan has consistently raised its voice against Islamophobia on all international forums. He emphasized that Pakistani communities abroad are making a significant contribution to their host countries. He also stated that prejudice against Muslims affects the security and well-being of Pakistani citizens abroad.
President Zardari announced that Pakistan is providing equal rights and opportunities to its minority communities. He also announced the establishment of a free National Commission to protect the rights of minorities. He emphasized that the international community must work together to eradicate prejudice and promote dialogue.
