Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori departed for Saudi Arabia to fulfill his Umrah obligations, where he will spend a few days and pay his respects at the Roza of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). On this occasion, Governor Tessori expressed gratitude to the entire protocol team at the airport for facilitating his departure. In a conversation with media personnel at the Governor’s House in Karachi, Governor Tessori stated that no one remains in the same position for their entire life. He emphasized that he was neither a deaf, dumb, nor a lame governor, nor did he want to be. This remark was in line with his previous statement where he said that nobody remains in the same position for their entire life.
It is worth noting that Sindh’s new governor, Nihal Hashmi, will take the oath of office today at 4 pm at the Governor’s House in Karachi. Chief Justice of the Sindh High Court will administer the oath to Nihal Hashmi, marking the beginning of his tenure as the governor of Sindh.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif’s advice to President Asif Zardari has led to the appointment of Nihal Hashmi as the governor of Sindh. In a related development, the US Embassy in Pakistan has restricted the movement of its employees until March 15. Applicants can check the status of their appointments on the Embassy’s website. The US Consulates in Karachi and Lahore will suspend all consular services until further notice.
Federal Minister for Information, Attaullah Tarar, provided an update on Operation Gaddar-e-Haqq, stating that the government would take action against those involved in fanning sectarianism and Afghan Taliban activities.
Sindh’s new Governor, Nihal Hashmi, has announced that he will not engage in petty politics, stating that the position was assigned to him by the PML-N leadership. Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif assured that the government would do its best to provide relief to the people during these challenging times.

In a tragic incident, the bodies of two individuals were found on Sarcl Road in Benazirabad. According to police, the victims were fatally shot by unidentified individuals.
Governor Tessori’s handover ceremony was attended by Sindh Chief Minister, Murad Ali Shah, Zia Langer, Naseer Shah, and Zulfiqar Shah.
In a separate incident, a police mobile was targeted in a blast, resulting in no casualties. The Nursing Council’s formation was announced, with Aslam Ghouri as the President and Syed Ali Farhan Razi as the Vice President.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Advisor on Finance, Mezmal Islam, announced that government employees would receive their salaries and pensions on March 16.
