Starting at 12 pm today, several roads in Karachi will be closed, including the roads leading from Boat Basin to Jinnah Bridge and Mai Kolachi. The Traffic Police has advised that the two-way roads from Boat Basin to Jinnah Bridge and Mai Kolachi will be closed, with traffic being diverted through alternative routes.
According to the Traffic Police, the two-way roads from PIDC to Jinnah Bridge and MT Khan Road will also be closed, with traffic being diverted through U-Turns. The Traffic Police has instructed that traffic coming from PIDC to Jinnah Bridge will be diverted towards Khayyam Chowk, while traffic coming from Jinnah Bridge will be diverted towards II Chundrigar Road.
The Traffic Police has also advised citizens to use alternative routes to avoid congestion, particularly after Friday prayers.
