The incident occurred as a Pakistani fisherman, identified as Tayyab, was engaged in fishing activities near the coastal region of Sistan and Baluchestan Province in Iran. Deputy Commissioner Nabiullah Kakar stated that the fisherman’s body has been transferred to Gwadar from Iran, and further details are being obtained from Iranian authorities.
In a separate development, some women who had gathered in Islamabad to participate in a protest march were detained by the police. Karachi Mayor Murtaza Wahab announced that the construction of the Awami Markaz Flyover in the city will be completed within 100 days.
