Punjab Energy Department has submitted proposals to the government to conserve energy, including online meetings and working from home, as well as online classes in universities and colleges. The department has recommended switching off streetlights after 10 PM across the province, turning off high-intensity lights, billboards, and neon signs, and saving energy by switching off decorative lights on buildings.
