The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has made a significant decision, appointing former captain Sarfaraz Ahmed as the head coach of the national test team. The PCB has been looking for a new head coach after Azhar Mahmood’s temporary appointment for the series against South Africa. The test series between Pakistan and Bangladesh, which is part of the ICC World Test Championship 2027, will take place in May. The first test match will begin on May 8, while the second test match will kick off on May 16.
The PCB has also announced the schedule and squads for the National T20 Cup. The teams that have qualified for the semi-finals are New Zealand from Group 2 and South Africa from Group 1.
