The Jamshoro Campus of the Sindh Medical University (JSMU) witnessed a massive show of solidarity with Pakistan’s armed forces as a rally was organized in support of Operation Zarb-e-Azb. The rally was held in view of the directives issued by the Sindh Higher Education Commission, and a large number of students, faculty members, and administrative staff participated in it. The rally was led by Vice Chancellor Professor Amjad Sarfraz Mehmood, while the principal of the Sindh Medical College, Professor Anbarin Otho, was also present on the occasion.
The participants raised slogans of “Pakistan Zindabad” and “Pakistan Paimanabad” and expressed their unwavering commitment to national security. Vice Chancellor Professor Amjad Sarfraz Mehmood said in his message that no compromise can be made on national security. “Pakistan’s armed forces are the guarantors of our national sovereignty, and the entire nation stands with them,” he added. He further said that Operation Zarb-e-Azb is not just a military operation but a symbol of national resolve. “Our forces’ sacrifices are the foundation of our freedom, and it is our duty to respect them,” he emphasized. “There is no ambiguity on the issue of national security; our support is unwavering.”
Professor Anbarin Otho, the principal of the Sindh Medical College, said in her address that the young generation stands shoulder to shoulder with the armed forces. “The sacrifices made for the protection of national security will always be remembered,” she said. “The nation is with its armed forces, and we salute their resolve.”
A large number of deans and directors also participated in the rally. The participants paid tribute to the sacrifices of the Pakistan Army and reiterated their resolve to remain united at all levels for the sake of the country’s sovereignty and stability. The event presented an ideal picture of national unity and solidarity at the Jamshoro Campus of the Sindh Medical University.
Meanwhile, Maulana Fazlur Rehman, the head of the Jamaat-e-Islami, arrived at the Iranian embassy in Islamabad.
