While his father’s soul-stirring qawwalis had almost forced around 400 people to accept Islam, despite not understanding the words. According to Majid Amjad Sabri, his father was performing at a function in France, where he suddenly recited his famous poem: “Ya Muhammad Nur-e-Majid, ya Habibi ya Maula.” In a recent interview with a private TV channel, Majid revealed that after the performance, a group of French participants, accompanied by a translator, approached the stage from behind and said that although they didn’t understand the words, the name of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) brought them immense peace and relief.
