Pakistan’s Minister of Information and Broadcasting, Attaullah Tarar, has briefed the nation on the latest developments regarding Operation Ghazb al-Haqq. In a statement on X, the minister revealed that 415 Afghan Taliban were killed and over 580 wounded in Pakistan’s retaliatory action. The operations were carried out on 46 locations within Afghanistan, where 182 Afghan Taliban regime check posts were destroyed, and 31 were taken over. Attaullah Tarar added that Pakistan’s operations resulted in the destruction of 185 tanks, armed vehicles, and artillery guns belonging to the Afghan Taliban regime.
In a phone call with Jordan’s King Abdullah II, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif discussed the rapidly changing situation in the region. Both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to protecting Pakistan’s sovereignty, independence, and dignity at all costs. The United Arab Emirates (UAE) Ministry of Defense released a statement detailing the extent of Iran’s attacks and losses. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif stated that the Pakistani people and government stand in solidarity with the Iranian people in their time of grief.
