The UAE has reportedly intercepted numerous Iranian missiles. Reports of explosions have also been heard in the Bahraini capital, Manama. The UAE authorities have stated that the attack is a flagrant violation of national sovereignty and international law, and the UAE reserves the right to respond to this aggression. Iran has confirmed that it has targeted the Al-Dhafra Airbase in the UAE and the Bahrain Airbase.
On the other hand, news agencies report that explosions were also heard in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has said that their military was prepared for this day. The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has called for an immediate political and diplomatic solution to the situation. Jordan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ayman Safadi, said that the attacks are not in the interests of the United States or the world’s peace, and they are praying for those innocent people who will suffer the consequences.
The Israeli Defense Forces have announced that they have hit several Iranian military targets in western Iran, including missile launchers, during airstrikes.
