In a devastating turn of events, a 21-year-old YouTuber and science student from Hyderabad, Telangana, Buno Komli, ended her life in her rented flat. According to the Indian media, the police stated that Buno Komli had sent a message to her mother in Kuwait just a few minutes before the incident, expressing her love and requesting her mother to look after her younger brother. In the message, Buno Komli had written, “Mom! I love you so much, please take care of my little brother.”
The Indian media reported that Buno Komli was a resident of Andhra Pradesh and had been studying at a private college in Hyderabad for the past 11 months. She was living alone and creating content on YouTube related to her lifestyle and personal experiences. When her mother couldn’t reach her through repeated calls, she informed one of Buno’s friends, who broke into the flat and found Buno’s lifeless body in the afternoon.
Preliminary investigations suggest that Buno Komli was under mental pressure due to a long-standing romantic relationship that had recently turned sour. In another incident, a 19-year-old student from Maharashtra took her own life on the day she was admitted to a medical college. The police identified the victim as Anurag Anil Borke.
In a separate incident, a 19-year-old youth from Solapur district in Maharashtra took his own life after posting a message on Instagram. According to the police, the victim was a software engineer and YouTuber who had been in a three-year relationship with her partner, but the two had recently separated. The victim had also attempted to take her life six months ago.
The police have registered a case of suspicious death and started an investigation based on phone records, messages, and statements from close relatives.
