The spokesperson for the Rangers stated that the arrested individuals are involved in extorting money from shopkeepers and other business owners. The spokesperson also revealed that Faisal, the second arrested individual, is a close associate of Jamil Changa, the leader of the tax mafia. The Rangers further stated that the arrested individuals are also involved in transferring tax collections to other parts of the city.
