Bollywood actor Rajpal Yadav has resumed filming for his upcoming movie Welcome to the Jungle, just days after being released on bail in a $1.4 million bounced cheque case. According to Indian media, Yadav’s team stated that the actor joined the shoot as soon as he arrived in Mumbai and will hold a press conference in the city on February 28. It is worth noting that the Delhi High Court recently stayed Yadav’s sentence in the cheque bounce case until March 18, directing him to pay a personal bond of Rs 1 lakh and an equal amount as a guarantee.
After his release, Yadav expressed gratitude to his fans through a televised interview, saying, “I am grateful to my fans for their love and support.” On social media, he posted his first message after release, thanking his fans and well-wishers. Yadav stated that the legal matter is ongoing in the High Court and asked his lawyer to provide the correct information.
Yadav’s upcoming film, Welcome to the Jungle, is directed by Ahmed Khan and features Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, Jackie Shroff, Raveena Tandon, Disha Patani, Jacqueline Fernandez, Arshad Warsi, Parijaat Sawant, and Johnny Lever, among others. The film is a part of the Welcome series, which was first released in 2007 and followed by Welcome Back in 2015.
