A devastating air ambulance crash in the Indian state of Jharkhand has claimed the lives of seven people, including two crew members and a patient. The incident occurred on a flight from Ranchi to Delhi, when the Beechcraft C-90 aircraft, functioning as an air ambulance, crashed in the Chhatra district of Jharkhand. The air ambulance was ferrying a patient for treatment in New Delhi.
According to media reports, a team from the Air Craft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) has been dispatched to determine the cause of the crash. Meanwhile, local authorities have cordoned off the area by deploying police teams.
This incident comes just a month after a charter plane crashed in Maharashtra’s Baramati, resulting in significant losses. On the same day, a helicopter crashed in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands due to technical issues, claiming the lives of a pilot, co-pilot, and two vendors.
