Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar Khan has announced that the party’s founder received medical check-ups at the Pakistan Medical Association (PMA) Hospital. Khan stated that doctors informed him that the PTI founder underwent the follow-up procedure for eye treatment, stating that the party founder was transferred from Adiala Jail to PMA Hospital. According to the PMA Hospital, the PTI founder underwent a second dose of anti-VEGF intra-vitreal injection to treat his eye condition. In an interview with Geo News, Khan stated that the party’s demands are the same as those of the party founder’s family. He said that their demands include transferring the party founder to Shifa International Hospital for treatment and conducting medical check-ups in the presence of the party founder’s personal doctors.
Meanwhile, the Executive Director of PMA Hospital stated that the party founder underwent a second dose of anti-VEGF intra-vitreal injection for follow-up eye treatment. The Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) held a meeting under the chairmanship of Federal Minister for Finance, Miftah Ismail, and issued a resolution. Iranian Ambassador to Pakistan expressed his views that the recent changes will lead to further changes in the region. In a statement, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif praised the role of Qatar Businessmen Association in strengthening trade ties with Qatar. A meeting was held between Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Qatari Deputy Prime Minister Sheikh Saud bin Abdulrahman bin Thani.
