Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan has denied taking any action against Ali Amin Gandapur, stating that the allegations are baseless and made up. In an interview with Geo News, Khan said that Gandapur has been advised not to let internal party differences escalate. The PTI has suspended two leaders, Bushra Bibi and Alimma Khan, over alleged misconduct.
According to Khan, Gandapur made a show of remorse in a video statement, and the party’s priority is to secure the release of its founding chairman, Imran Khan. PTI leader and former Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Finance Minister, Shaukat Ali Yousafzai, expressed regret that the two leaders have not studied the Constitution and law seriously, which would have prevented them from making such irresponsible statements.
Sindh Senior Minister, Sharjeel Inam Memon, stated that some people are politicizing every issue and spreading despair. NADRA has submitted its annual report to the Ministry of Interior. Punjab Chief Minister, Maryam Nawaz, inaugurated the CM Green Tractor Program Phase 3.
A police spokesperson said that the suspects who murdered a woman escaped from the scene. Khawaja Saad Rafique, a PTI leader, stated that any issue can be resolved through dialogue. “We are a nation that desires peace and we have entered a critical juncture. We will make a decision soon.”
Pakistan has been accused of exporting terrorism to Afghanistan, which it has denied. Meanwhile, a 1-year-old girl was allegedly molested in the Karachi neighborhood of Lyari Chakiwara. A suspect was arrested in connection with the incident. Shandana Gulzar, a PTI leader, stated that some statements are made due to trauma, old age, and extreme mental pressure.
