In a surprise forecast, the PMD has predicted a thunderstorm with rain in Karachi on Tuesday due to an approaching western wave. The previous night, Karachi’s minimum temperature was recorded at 20 degrees Celsius. Winds blowing from the north-east are moving at a speed of 20 km per hour, carrying a humidity level of 51 percent.
In contrast, Quetta, the capital of Balochistan, and its surrounding areas are experiencing cold weather. Quetta’s minimum temperature was recorded at 4 degrees Celsius. According to the PMD, today the weather in Balochistan’s northern districts is cold and dry, in southern districts it is dry and mild, while in most districts of the province it is expected to be dry.
The PMD has forecasted that temperatures in northern districts of Balochistan may drop to freezing levels in the morning and evening.
