Federal Minister for Information, Attaullah Tarar, has strongly denied media reports of a deal with the founder of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party, claiming that there is no truth to such rumors. In a statement, Tarar stated that reports of a deal with the PTI founder are baseless and have no factual basis. He emphasized that the PTI founder is an convicted criminal and should not be given any special treatment.
The minister’s statement comes in the wake of repeated reports of a possible deal between the government and the PTI founder. However, Tarar has clarified that there is no truth to these reports and that the government has no intention of making a deal with the PTI founder.
The Speaker of the Sindh Assembly, Agha Siraj Durrani, has announced that action will be taken against any member of the assembly who is found to have committed a crime. He stated that any member who is convicted of a crime will be suspended from the assembly until they seek pardon.
Rana Sanaullah, a senior leader of the PML-N, has also spoken out against the PTI founder, stating that he is a convicted criminal and should not be given any special treatment. He emphasized that the PTI founder’s health is a personal matter and should not be politicized.
In other news, the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) has announced that it will investigate the allegations of corruption and irregularities in the securities market. The commission has also announced that it will take action against any individual or organization found to be involved in corrupt practices.
Meanwhile, the government has taken steps to improve the security situation in the country. The Minister of Interior, Rana Sanaullah, has announced that 50 city wardens will be deployed to ensure the security of the market.
