Pakistan’s Prime Minister Adviser on Political Affairs, Rana Sanaullah, has come out and accused the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) of fomenting anarchy and chaos in the country. Speaking to Geo News, Sanaullah stated that the PTI’s actions are a part of its political agenda and have nothing to do with the treatment of its leader, Imran Khan, who has been hospitalized for injuries sustained during a protest.
Sanaullah claimed that the PTI’s real intention is to escalate the situation from a peaceful protest to a full-blown street agitation, and that the party has never been satisfied with any resolution. He further stated that the KP government is responsible for the current situation, and that the local administration, including the Chief Minister, is involved in the crisis.
Sanaullah’s comments come after a meeting with other officials, where he had stated that the PTI was spreading misinformation and that its leader’s treatment was not a concern. He accused the PTI of wanting to create a sense of instability and panic in the country, and that its focus is on creating chaos and anarchy.
