In a significant development, the anti-terrorism court of Rawalpindi has issued a non-bailable arrest warrant for PTI founder Imran Khan’s sister, Alima Khan, for continuously failing to appear in court. The court, presided over by Justice Amjad Ali Shah, rejected Alima Khan’s request for exemption from attending the trial and ordered the police to execute the arrest warrant.
Speaking to the press, Alima Khan expressed concern over her brother’s health, stating that the former prime minister’s eyesight was not improving. The prosecutor, Zahir Shah, claimed that there are still two witnesses to be examined in the case, with 16 having already testified. Shah alleged that the accused had attempted to disrupt the trial proceedings.

A significant discovery was made in the Tando Allahyar district of Sindh, where oil and gas reserves were found. According to OGDC, 97 million cubic feet of gas per day is expected to be produced from the West III well.
