According to Indian media reports, 90-year-old Salim Khan is currently undergoing treatment in the ICU of a private hospital in Mumbai. Indian TV reports that Salman Khan visited his father at Lilavati Hospital in Bandra and left after a few hours, and Salim Khan was admitted to the hospital this morning. Salim Khan, a renowned screenwriter, has revealed that he hasn’t spoken to his elder son, actor Salman Khan, for six months. Salim Khan’s daughter Alivia Khan, son-in-law Ateeq Agnihotri, and grandson Ayansh Agnihotri have also visited him to inquire about his health.
Salim Khan has written iconic films like Sholay, Hatimtai, Zanjeer, and Mr. India with his former writing partner Javed Akhtar. Salim Khan celebrated his 90th birthday on November 24, 2025. “We always give each other space, which makes our relationship stronger and improves our communication,” he said.
