Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif concluded his high-level delegation’s visit to Austria, accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and Minister for Information, Atta Tarar. During his visit, the Premier held a crucial meeting with Austria’s Chancellor Karl Nehammer, signing multiple notes on bilateral cooperation. The delegation also addressed the Pakistani and Austrian business communities, and participated in a conference at the UN Vienna Center in Vienna.
At the conference, the Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister, and other officials highlighted Pakistan’s stance and views. The conference was attended by the Director-General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Rafael Mariano Grossi, who welcomed the guests.
At the conclusion of the conference, the Ambassador of Pakistan, Kamran Akhtar Malik, thanked the participants, and a ceremony was held to sign various agreements with the heads of IAEA and the UN. The Prime Minister was also present at the ceremony.
Following the engagements, the Premier’s delegation, including the Prime Minister, departed for the hotel. Tonight, around 2 am, the delegation will depart for the US.
