Islamabad, Pakistan – In a major breakthrough, the Islamabad Police have arrested a gang of thieves involved in a series of house break-ins, recovering over $11.7 million in stolen cash. According to a police spokesperson, the three members of the gang, including the leader, were arrested in a joint operation.
The police recovered the stolen cash, valued at over $11.7 million, from the gang members. The arrested individuals were wanted in multiple cases, including those registered at the Lohi Bher and Bani Gala police stations.
In other news, the federal government has announced that it will provide uninterrupted power supply during the Sahar and Iftar timings during the month of Ramadan. The Lahore High Court has ordered the return of the guarantee money deposited by Maryam Nawaz in the Chaudhry Sugar Mill case.
