A 33-year-old woman, identified as Sia, was found dead in a vacant plot in the Nashatpur area of Bhopal, India. According to reports, Sia was a resident of Gondia district in Maharashtra, India.
Preliminary investigations by the police revealed that Sia was murdered by her husband, Samir, who had strangled her. The couple had been in a relationship for about 15 years, with both families aware of their relationship. However, things took a turn for the worse when Samir’s wife left the house after a year, and the couple’s relationship became increasingly tumultuous.
According to the police, Sia had been pressuring Samir to marry her, and had also demanded a sum of Rs 5 million as dowry. When Samir refused, Sia threatened to take legal action against him. The police further revealed that Samir had sought the help of his brother, mother, and sister to dispose of Sia’s body.
The investigation led the police to a vacant plot, where they found Sia’s decomposing body in a septic tank. The police suspect that Samir had placed her body in the tank after strangling her. The police have arrested Samir and are investigating the case further.
