Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Murad Saeed has resigned from his Senate seat. In a letter to the Chairman of the Senate, Saeed suggested that the party should resign from all assemblies, including the Senate and provincial assemblies, immediately. The resignation letter stated that the current parliament is based on fake and illegitimate grounds and is a betrayal of the people’s mandate.
