The Karachi police have registered a case against the Jamaat-e-Islami workers for creating a ruckus outside the Sindh Assembly. According to police officials, the case has been registered at the Aram Bagh police station under the government’s patronage. The case is being filed under the Anti-Terrorism Act and other relevant sections, with 30 individuals named. The police have seized the Jamaat-e-Islami’s sound system from a lorry and taken 10 workers into custody. It is worth noting that the workers of Jamaat-e-Islami clashed with the police in Karachi yesterday, as they attempted to reach the Sindh Assembly. The police used tear gas to disperse the workers, and one worker was injured in the process.
