The Punjab Home Department has received an initial medical report on PTI Chairman Imran Khan’s treatment in jail. According to sources, the report includes a complete chart of vital signs such as blood pressure, sugar levels, and cholesterol. The report also includes details of the medical staff’s consultation and Khan’s eye examination.
Jail authorities claim that the report includes details of the consultation and medical staff’s involvement, including the date and name of the doctor who conducted the medical examination. Sources also indicate that the medical board formed by the government is expected to visit the jail.
On-duty doctors reportedly examine Khan three times a day and check his vital signs, while a complete record is maintained daily. It is worth noting that the Punjab Home Department had requested a detailed medical report from the jail authorities, following which this preliminary report was sent.
