Adiala Jail, Rawalpindi: A medical team consisting of top doctors from the best hospitals in Islamabad has completed the medical examination of PTI Chairman Imran Khan at Adiala Jail. Sources claim that the medical team, comprising senior doctors, conducted a thorough eye examination of the PTI Chairman. The medical report, which will include details of the PTI Chairman’s blood pressure, sugar level, cholesterol, and other vital signs, is expected to be prepared today.
According to sources, the five-member senior doctors’ team, which included technicians, conducted the medical examination for almost an hour at Adiala Jail. The team included Dr. Rafeeq, Dr. Sikandar, and Dr. Arif. The Supreme Court had asked for the medical report of the PTI Chairman before February 16.
Despite a government invitation, none of the PTI leaders visited the jail. The medical team was waiting at the jail from 3 pm to represent the PTI leadership. Sources claim that the medical panel includes Dr. Amjad and Dr. Nadeem Qureshi. The medical panel will conduct the examination of the PTI Chairman later, after which the decision to shift him to the hospital will be made.
It is worth noting that the federal government had formed a medical board comprising two expert doctors from the Alfalah Hospital to conduct a medical check-up of the PTI Chairman’s eyes. Yesterday, the opposition alliance had expressed severe concerns about the PTI Chairman’s health and demanded that he be shifted to a hospital immediately.
