Acting sensation Dhanshikaa is currently entangled in a serious legal dispute. Tinnindel Films, a production house, has served a notice to the actor demanding a whopping compensation of 20 crores. According to reports, the company claims that the actor’s failure to deliver a complete screenplay led to the film’s prolonged halt, causing significant financial losses.
Dhanshikaa had signed a deal with Tinnindel Films in 2016 to star in the film “Nan Roderan.” The actor was not only set to act but also direct the film. Maroonal Thakur, the female lead, is currently busy promoting her upcoming film “Do Diwane Sheher Mein,” alongside Suddhant Chatterjee. However, the production house claims that Dhanshikaa failed to provide a complete script, leading to the film’s prolonged halt.
The company alleges that they had invested 20 crores initially in the film, including the costs of other actors like Nagarjuna and SJ Surya, who were set to feature in the film. The production house claims that the film’s halt resulted in significant financial losses, and they are seeking compensation from Dhanshikaa.
In a statement, A Chidamberm, the company’s lawyer, stated, “The film was halted midway because Dhanshikaa started working on other projects without completing this one.” Dhanshikaa has remained silent on the matter, and no official statement has been issued from his side.
