Pakistan’s Federal Constitutional Body, the Federal Constitutional Justice of Pakistan, has issued a notification for office hours during the holy month of Ramadan. As per the notification, the new office hours will be applicable to Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, and Quetta offices. The offices will be open from morning 9 AM to 2 PM on Mondays to Thursdays, while office hours will be from 9 AM to 12:30 PM on Fridays and weekends. The notification also states that no case will be accepted an hour before the office hours are over, except for extreme and urgent cases, which will be exempted from the time constraint.
The government prioritizes human compassion and legal demands, and it is the government’s responsibility to provide facilities to every prisoner according to the law, said a senior official.
A medical panel, comprising Dr. Amjad and Dr. Nadeem Qureshi, has been formed to examine the PTI chairman, and the medical panel will conduct a medical examination of the PTI chairman, which will decide whether he will be shifted to a hospital or not.
The opposition alliance, the Movement for the Protection of the Constitution, has demanded the immediate transfer of PTI chairman to a hospital for medical treatment. PTI’s vice-chairperson, Alima Khan, said that the PTI chairman is overjoyed to hear the voices of his sons after a long time.
Several politicians, including former Senator Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar, PPP’s senior leader Aitezaz Hassan, and Minister of Information, have expressed their concerns regarding the health of the PTI chairman. The government has been advised to avoid speculations about the PTI chairman’s health.
Meanwhile, the police have seized a sound system of the Jamaat-e-Islami and arrested 10 of its workers. Former Health Adviser to the Prime Minister, Dr. Zafar Mirza, has revealed that the PTI chairman is suffering from eye-related disease.
Pakistan Peoples Party’s senior leader, Aitezaz Hassan, has supported the medical bail granted to the PTI chairman based on medical grounds. The government has been advised to avoid speculations about the PTI chairman’s health.
Separately, the Ministry of Meteorology has forecasted the entry of a weaker westerly system into Balochistan on February 16. Meanwhile, a social media campaign has been launched to raise funds for the Hafiz Naeem Rehman, a student who was brutally beaten by the police during a protest.
Pakistan Bar Council has expressed concern over the health of the PTI chairman.
