Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman’s health has taken a turn for the worse, sparking widespread concerns among the nation. Senior politician and former Federal Minister Fawad Chaudhry stated that the nation is worried about the PTI Chairman’s well-being, citing that he was kept in solitary confinement, which led to his deteriorating health. Chaudhry emphasized that the PTI Chairman’s blood pressure increased due to the isolation, putting his life at risk.
In a statement, Chaudhry urged the National Dialogue Committee to act on their proposed solutions and demanded that the solitary confinement be lifted and political prisoners be released from jail. He also called for a national dialogue to resolve the ongoing crisis.
MQM’s leader, Sajid Mirman, responded by saying that MQM is a part of the federal government and advised PTI to speak with the Prime Minister. He added that every individual has a role to play in the country, and criticism is a natural part of democracy.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif spoke with the President of Bangladesh’s Nationalist Party, Taqi Rahman, congratulating him on the party’s electoral success.
Provincial Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs, Rana Sanaullah, took a different stance, criticizing PTI’s Chairman and saying that they are not interested in treating their wounded but rather using it as a pretext for protest.
In a separate incident, a brother shot and killed his sister in the Farid Colony of Sahiwal. PTI’s central leader, Sheikh Waseem Akram, expressed his concern and stated that the PTI Chairman’s medical treatment should have begun immediately after the report.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif spoke with the President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to discuss regional matters. Pakistan Air Force Chief, Air Chief Marshal Zafar Masud, visited Indonesia on a official visit.
