A Karachi resident has approached the Sindh High Court after waiting 20 years to take possession of her flat. The Constitutional Bench of the Sindh High Court heard the case against the builder. Shahida Begum, the complainant, stated that she had booked a flat in the Sadar area of Karachi in 2006. The Sindh High Court issued a notification regarding petitions related to constitutional matters. The complainant’s lawyer informed the court that the flats have been constructed, but her client has yet to receive possession of her flat. On the other hand, the builder’s lawyer argued that they are ready to hand over the possession, but the building plan has yet to receive approval from the Cantonment Board. The Sindh High Court has summoned the Cantonment Board Karachi for a response.
Meanwhile, a sit-in was scheduled to take place in front of the Parliament House’s main gate, led by the PTI leadership. Talal Chaudhry stated that the PTI is now playing a sympathetic role, as they are trying to hide behind the health of their leader after the failure of the February 8 protest. In response, Rana Sanaullah said that if the government, jail authorities, or any other agency is inquiring about the PTI leader’s health, it would be a serious offense.
