Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister, Shahbaz Ali, has stated that the federal government has been withholding over 400 billion rupees from the province. He has vowed to retrieve this amount, which was collected with the help of the public, from the federal government. During his address at the annual convocation of the University of Engineering and Technology in Peshawar, the chief minister emphasized that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is not lacking in talent, but rather, it is facing issues of opportunities in various fields such as education, health, and sports.
The chief minister also stated that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has always been treated as a testing ground, and every individual has contributed their experience, which has led to a sense of insecurity in the province. He has vowed not to let the province become a testing ground again.
In a statement, the chief minister said that he will not go to anyone’s doorstep, but he will sit with anyone in the interest of his province. He also announced that a large group of unemployed individuals is being formed in the universities, and that a staggering amount of 5.3 trillion rupees has been spent on corruption in the country, but it has gone unnoticed.
The chief minister further stated that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has always been treated with discriminatory and stepmotherly behavior, and some people do not want the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to progress. However, he has vowed to ensure that the province’s youth gets employment and that the country is made a great nation through collective efforts.
