Pakistan’s President Asif Ali Zardari has declared that India, the country’s eastern neighbor, has become a threat to global peace. In a recent statement, Zardari claimed that India is providing support to the Taliban regime, which not only poses a threat to Pakistan but to the entire region and global peace. He further stated that some neighboring countries are contributing to the crimes by allowing terrorist elements to operate from their soil and attacking Pakistan.
The President also alleged that some countries are not only providing direct financial support to the Taliban but also providing them with technical and military assistance. Zardari stated that the Taliban regime has created situations more perilous than before 9/11.
In a gesture of gratitude, the President thanked world leaders and countries for their support and solidarity with Pakistan in the wake of recent terrorist attacks.
Meanwhile, Senator Pervez Rashid from the ruling Pakistan Muslim League (N) party reacted to the situation by saying that the consequences of their actions are now being faced. Professor Muhammad Masrour, Treasurer of the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan, has denied all allegations made against Pakistan in recent British media reports, terming them baseless, misleading, and factually incorrect.
Saudi Arabia’s capital Riyadh hosted a global defense exhibition, where 80 countries, including Pakistan, participated. Federal Minister for Energy Awais Leghari announced that the country’s industrial electricity rates are now comparable to those of other countries in the region.

A meeting between the leaders of the MQM, PTI, and BNP is in progress, which has been extended beyond the scheduled time.
