Islamabad, Pakistan – The Ministry of Religious Affairs has announced that the last two days remain for Saudi visa applicants to obtain their visas with bio-metric. According to the spokesperson of the Ministry, all Hajj visa applicants must obtain their visas with bio-metric by 8th February to ensure their eligibility.
The spokesperson also stated that Hajj applicants can complete the bio-metric process by using the Saudi Visa Bio-App while seated at home. However, to facilitate the applicants, all Saudi Tashir Centers across the country will remain open from 9 am to 5 pm on Saturday and Sunday.
The Ministry has made it clear that no Hajj visa will be issued without bio-metric. The applicants must ensure that they complete the bio-metric process and save the confirmation email. It is worth mentioning that the deadline for bio-metric is 8th February, and no Hajj visa will be issued after this date.
Pakistan has been allocated 179,210 Hajj visas for the year 2026, while 60,000 seats are reserved for private schemes. Meanwhile, the met office has predicted a low-pressure system and scattered rain showers in Karachi during the same period.
The Ministry of Interior has revealed that the evidence suggests that the attack was planned, trained, and coordinated by the ISIS in Afghanistan, with the support of Afghan Taliban. The Interior Minister further stated that the evidence also shows that the attackers were facilitated and supported by a mastermind, who has been arrested along with other accomplices.
In other news, the United Nations has condemned the terrorist attack on Islamabad’s mosque and has expressed solidarity with the government and people of Pakistan against terrorism and extremism. The Justice Ali Baqar Najafi has stated that the Supreme Court will try to dispose of all cases as soon as possible, while the police have arrested an individual who was involved in the incident and have also recovered a firearm from his possession.
