The authorities at Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi presented the medical report of PTI founder in the Anti-Terrorism Court yesterday. Deputy Superintendent Adiala Jail, Jamshaid Ali Shah, appeared in court and submitted the medical report of PTI founder.
According to the report, the medical checkup of PTI founder has been conducted as per Pakistan Prison Rules. All medical facilities are being provided to Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and PTI founder as per jail rules.
Dr. Imran Sikandar said that PTI founder complained of a decline in vision in his right eye a few days ago, which prompted a senior doctor to conduct an examination at Adiala Jail.
It is worth noting that the court had previously issued a contempt of court notice to the Superintendent of Adiala Jail for not presenting the report. The court had requested the authorities to present the report yesterday.
It is worth recalling that last month, the Executive Director of PIMS Hospital, Rana Imran Sikandar, had revealed the details of PTI founder’s treatment.
In his statement, Dr. Sikandar said that PTI founder’s right eye was affected due to increased pressure in the blood vessels, and a team of senior doctors had examined his eye and discharged him.
