Pakistan Cricket Team Unveils Jersey for T20 World Cup 2026
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Muhammad Nadeem and former PCB Chairman Najam Sethi attended a ceremony to unveil the jersey for the Pakistan cricket team participating in the T20 World Cup 2026. The jersey is named “Vengard Markhor Edition.” The team will face India in the T20 World Cup 2026, but due to unknown reasons, they will not be playing against them.
The jersey features the T20 World Cup 2026 logo and the names of the host countries, India and Sri Lanka, at the bottom. PCB Chairman, Muhammad Nadeem, expressed hope that the team will bring back the T20 World Cup trophy. The Pakistani government has given permission to the national team to participate in the tournament, but with conditions. The team will begin their campaign against the Netherlands on February 7 and face the United States on February 10. However, due to the government’s announcement, the team will not play against India on February 15. Their last match will be against Namibia on February 18.
The International Cricket Council (ICC) Under-19 World Cup was won by India. In the Asian Under-21 Snooker Championship in Qatar, the final match was played between Pakistan’s Ahsan Ramzan and Iran’s Shahin Sabzi.
