Sindh Home Minister Ziauddin Langoor has stated that terrorism charges should have been included in the case against Jamaat-e-Islami. During a press conference outside the Sindh Assembly, Ziauddin Langoor said that a message has been conveyed to Hafiz Naeem to not block the main road outside the Sindh Assembly. He stated that Hafiz Naeem and Jamaat-e-Islami should stage their protest on Service Road instead of the main road and if they wish to protest, they should do so outside the Press Club. The Sindh Home Minister further stated that the provincial government will not allow PTI to block roads, and no one will be permitted to block highways. He added that if shops are forcibly closed, the law will come into action, and Jamaat-e-Islami has violated the law by blockading Shahra-e-Faisal.
Ziauddin Langoor also stated that terrorism charges should have been included in the case against those who blockaded Shahra-e-Faisal, so that in the future no one will dare to block roads. The Uzbekistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan Railway project has been declared a vital project for regional connectivity. Both countries have agreed to enhance cooperation in the fields of energy, defense, tourism, and education. Opposition leader Mian Mehmood-ur-Rasheed of the Punjab Assembly expressed his frustration with PTI party members, stating that one side of the government and the other side of PTI’s social media are humiliating us.
