Karachi Police has successfully foiled a dacoit attempt in Bahadurabad, Karachi, and recovered most of the stolen items, including American dollars. The police obtained CCTV footage from various locations and tracked down four suspects on two motorcycles who were chasing a civilian’s car. Three of the suspects were wearing masks.
According to police officials, most of the stolen items have been recovered, and the suspects have been arrested. The incident took place in Bahadurabad, where looters broke into a house, stole 200 tolas of gold, and one million US dollars. The suspects escaped on motorcycles, but their speed brake malfunctioned, causing them to fall, and the stolen items scattered.
The police officials stated that the suspects fled after seeing security guards from nearby bungalows. A route map of their escape has been prepared, and a Geo-fencing operation is underway. According to the FIR, the victim claimed to have brought the stolen items and one million US dollars from the bank’s locker in his car.
Two motorcycle-borne suspects chased the car and entered the house, where three suspects were inside and stole the gold and US dollars. One suspect remained outside while the other three entered the house and escaped with the loot.
Pakistan and Uzbekistan have agreed to enhance cooperation in energy, defense, tourism, and education. The two countries have also agreed to establish an Inter-Regional Forum.
