The US media has conceded that American arms left behind in Afghanistan are being used for terrorism in Pakistan. According to a report by the American broadcasting network CNN, American arms abandoned in Afghanistan are being utilised by terrorist groups in Pakistan. The report states that the abandoned American arms have become a significant hindrance in counter-terrorism operations, as the terrorist groups, including the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), are using American-made rifles, machine guns, sniper rifles, and other arms.
The Chief of the SSG, General Asim Munir, visited the Azad Kashmir region, where he paid tribute to the martyrs of the Kashmir Liberation Movement. The Prime Minister and the President of Pakistan reiterated their complete support for the right to self-determination of the Kashmiri people.
In a significant development, Pakistan and Uzbekistan agreed to form an inter-regional forum to enhance cooperation in various fields, including energy, defence, tourism, and education. The opposition leader, Mahmood Khan, stated that he would not engage in any discussion about the health of Imran Khan, the founding leader of the PTI.
