Punjab Law Minister Rana Muhammad Iqbal has taken notice of the alleged abuse and ordered the District Police Officer (DPO) in Qasur to submit a report on the matter. He has also directed the police to arrest the suspects immediately. The minister has instructed the hospital administration to ensure the girl receives the best possible treatment and has condemned the perpetrators of the crime.
The police have confirmed that the girl is out of danger after the operation, and a case has been registered against the unknown suspects. However, the police are yet to identify the girl’s family, and the search for her relatives is ongoing.
