In a major crackdown, Punjab Rangers conducted an operation in Karachi’s Liaqatabad area, seizing control of the Liaqatabad Super Market. According to a Rangers spokesperson, three thieves were apprehended during the operation, and the suspects were handed over to the police for further investigation.
The spokesperson revealed that the suspects, who were involved in extortion, would collect approximately 4 million rupees daily from shopkeepers and street vendors. They also allegedly threatened to kill those who failed to pay the bribes.
The spokesperson reiterated that the Rangers are committed to maintaining law and order in the city and upholding the values of coexistence and interfaith harmony.
